Tour Itinerary

• Day 1:

    Dep. From Nagpur for Howrah by Azad Hind Express
  at 10.20 a.m. (Train No. 12129) 

• DAY 2:

  Arrival at Howrah Station at 04.10 a.m. Transfer to Hotel. Kolkatta Darshan (Optional and at your own expense). Return to Hotel in the evening. Dinner. Transfer to Sealdah Rly. Station. Dep. For NJP by Darjeeling Mail at 10.05 p.m. (Train No. 12343)

  Note:– Please note that normal check in time at Kolkata Hotel is 12.00 noon. However, we will try to provide early check-in at about 09.00 a.m. subject to availability of rooms in the Hotel. Till such time, you will have to wait in the Lobby of the hotel, and you can also have your break-fast before you get entry into your room to save time.

  Note:– On this day, you can take rest in the Hotel or you may go out on your own to have Kolkatta Darshan etc. Management of Swastik Tours will assist you to arrange for the vehicle etc. However, you have to bear the expenses for the same.

• DAY 3:

  Arrival at NJP Station at 08.00 a.m. Immediate departure for Gangtok. Arrival in Gangtok in the evening. Transfer to Hotel. N.H.

• DAY 4:

  Gangtok Local S/S. Second part of the day free for Marketing etc. N.H.

• DAY 5:

  Full Day Excursion to Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir and Changu Lake. Night Halt at Gangtok

  Note:-
  A. Pl. note that Road to Nathula Pass is maintained by Border Road Organisation and controlled by Army. Journey to Nathula is difficulat and depends a lot on weather conditions. Hence, Swastik Tours does not guarantee visit to Nathula Pass. However, it will make best possible efforts for the visit and it may even reschedule the programme for this purpose. However, no refund will be paid nor any complaint or grievance will be entertained in case Army and B.R.O. do not grant permit for day’s visit to Nathula. If Nathula Permit is not issued, and if visit to Baba Mandir and Changu Lake is allowed by the Army, tourists will be taken to those two places. There will be no refund whatsoever under any circumstances for cancellation of visit to Nathulla Pass)

  B. Due to difficult terrain and non-availability of good quality restaurants on this route, packed snacks will be served instead of regular lunch on this day.

• DAY 6:

  Departure for Lachung / Yum Thang (Valley of Flowers) after Break Fast, at about 10.00 a.m. Sight seeing on the way including breath-taking Waterfalls. Arrival at Lachung in the evening. N.H. at Lachung.

  Note:- Due to difficult terrain and non-availability of good quality restaurants on this route, packed lunch may be provided to you with limited items.   

• DAY 7:

    Visit to Yum Thang (Valley of Flowers) and Zero Point. After lunch, return journey to Gangtok. N.H. at Gangtok.

• DAY 8:

  Check out from Gangtok Hotel after Break-Fast. Arrival in Darjeeling in the evening. Transfer to Hotel. Night Halt. 

• DAY 9:

  Darjeeling Darshan including Tiger Hills early in the morning at about 03.30 a.m. . N.H. at Darjeeling.

• DAY 10:

  Check Out after Break-Fast and departure for NJP via Nepal Border and Mirik Lake. Arrival at NJP Railway Station in the evening. To board Darjeeling Mail. Overnight Railway Journey. 

• DAY 11:

  Arrival at Sealdah Rly. Station at about 06.00 a.m. Transfer to Hotel. Full day reserved for your personal activities like marketing, Rest or any other activity of your choice at your own expense. After dinner at Hotel or nearby Restaurant, transfer to Howrah Rly. Station in the evening. Departure for Nagpur by Azad Hind Express at 09.55 p.m. (Train No. 12130)
